A mature red wine without oak ageing, goes well with the majority of dishes. Ideal to accompany grilled meats, tapas and rice dishes. To enjoy this wine it should be served at between 14 and 16º C, avoid serving at higher temperature.
Area of Production
Denominación de Origen D.O. Valencia is situated near the Mediterranean coast in the east of the country, at an altitude between 250 and 1000 meters. The climate is warm with a strong influence from the Mediterranean Sea. For centuries vines have been grown on the chalky, clay soils which, in combination with long hours of sunshine, produce fruity wines that are well structured with ripe tannins.
Grape Varieties
50% Tempranillo, 35% Monastrell and 15% Merlot.
Winemaking
The grapes are fermented separately using traditional methods during 10 days at between 25 and 28º C, but using modern winemaking technology. The wine is blended and aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months, without any use of oak.
Tasting Note
Colour: Deep red with violet hues.
Aroma: Intense aroma of ripe red fruits.
Taste: Fruity, well balanced with a long finish.
